This project consists of the construction of a new residence on a vacant lot that was previously a home lost in the Oakland fire.

The residence will be a three-story structure with attached garage of approximately 4200 sf. The residence includes 6 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The developed walk-out basement to include a guest room, office and great room. The main floor level to include the kitchen, living and auxiliary spaces and the upper floor to include the bedrooms, baths and laundry.

The roof will be a “Butterfly” shape with large overhangs and operable skylights. Multiple level interior and exterior spaces were created to maximize the use of the steep sloped site.

The modern design fits with the scale and character of the eclectic neighborhood and incorporates materials from the aesthetics of the neighboring homes.
